  • Welcome to my blog, I’m so glad you stopped by!

I have been a professional photographer in central Illinois for 15+ years. What started out as taking a few photography classes has turned into way more than a hobby and I am immensely grateful for this God given talent!

As a photographer, I am responsible for freezing time...frame by frame. Capturing moments and memories that will last beyond a single lifetime. Imagery is eternal. It touches our hearts, minds and soul as well as those that will follow behind us. What I do matters and I don't take it lightly.

Each and every client is personal to me. I work in the small town where I grew up. Where everyone knows everyone. It is an honor to be able to capture the moments of so many people that I love and adore.

My goal is to give 100% of my clients 110% of myself and 110% more than what they were expecting.

Here is a peek into the fun session I am blessed to shoot every year with Carlinville’s royalty! These girls represent our town with poise and perfection!  They are beautiful inside and out!  The 2014 pageant was the 10th anniversary of the annual event Ashley Gibbel Vinyard had launched as a result of having a dream…setting a goal and following through!
Looking forward to ‘capturing’ our 2015 royalty!

I had the pleasure of shooting photos of Emma and her family in the early years of my career.  What a privilege it was to capture Emma’s senior year for her after watching her grow up into such a beautiful young lady!

Emma plans on attending Illinois State University next fall.   She plans on majoring is fashion merchandising/business. She has been on the Cavalette Drill team for 4 years and is now a captain.

Emma says she would love to visit Bora Bora one day and that her favorite place she’s traveled to is Monaco.

Emma loves shopping and is quite attached to her sweet dog,  Stella.   (featured in a few of the images!)
